Bluetooth is what browsers can reach today, and nearly every sensor now broadcasts both. ANT+ needs a USB dongle and, on the web, is still experimental.

ANT+ came first and still rules bike computers; Bluetooth LE won phones and browsers. The practical rule for this game: Bluetooth is the path, and any sensor from the last decade almost certainly broadcasts both simultaneously, so you lose nothing. Browser-side ANT+ through a USB dongle over WebUSB is on our roadmap for the dongle faithful, but it is genuinely experimental territory.
